Limited Warranty Policy

At Nexatek, we stand behind the quality of our Certified Pre-Owned Phones and Tablets. Every eligible device includes a 30-Day Limited Hardware Warranty from the date of delivery.


1. Warranty Coverage Period

This Limited Warranty covers eligible devices for:

30 calendar days from the confirmed delivery date.

After 30 days, the device is no longer covered under warranty.


2. What Is Covered

This warranty covers functional hardware defects that were not caused by the customer, including:

  • Device not powering on

  • Cellular connectivity failure (SIM-related issues not included)

  • WiFi or Bluetooth malfunction

  • Microphone or speaker failure

  • Charging port failure (not due to physical damage)

  • Battery malfunction (severe failure, not normal wear)

  • Manufacturer hardware faults

If a covered issue is verified, Nexatek will:

  • Repair the device, OR

  • Replace the device (subject to stock availability), OR

  • Issue a refund at our discretion


3. What Is NOT Covered

This warranty does NOT cover:

  • Physical damage (drops, cracks, dents, impact damage)

  • Liquid or water damage

  • Screen damage after delivery

  • Battery life degradation due to normal use

  • Cosmetic wear (scratches, minor scuffs)

  • Software issues caused by user updates or apps

  • Network or carrier compatibility issues

  • Devices that are rooted, jailbroken, or modified

  • Account locks (iCloud, Google Lock, etc.)

  • IMEI blacklisting after purchase

  • Damage caused by improper charging accessories


4. Warranty Void Conditions

The warranty is immediately void if:

  • The device is opened or repaired by a third party

  • Internal parts are replaced or tampered with

  • IMEI or serial number is altered or removed

  • There is evidence of misuse or neglect


5. Warranty Claim Process

To initiate a warranty claim:

  1. Email info@nexatek.ca

  2. Provide your order number

  3. Describe the issue in detail

  4. Include clear photos or video showing the defect

If approved:

  • Customers are responsible for shipping the device back for inspection.

  • If the defect is confirmed as covered, we will repair, replace, or refund.

  • If the issue is not covered, the device will be returned at the customer’s expense.


6. Inspection Requirement

All returned devices are fully inspected.
If no fault is found or the issue is not covered under warranty, a diagnostic fee may apply.


7. Limitation of Liability

Nexatek is not responsible for:

  • Data loss (customers must back up devices before shipping)

  • SIM cards, memory cards, or accessories not originally included

  • Indirect or consequential damages


8. Important Notice

This Limited Warranty is separate from our 7-Day Return & Exchange Policy.

The warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.
